Become the pioneer for your school
The future starts with a pioneer.
Loek only works at a school once that school enables Loek in Somtoday. A pioneer is the parent who makes that happen at school: you raise Loek with the school, gather support from other parents and keep at it until the school decides. We give you the material and handle the technical side with the school.
What do you do as a pioneer?
- Claim your school. Choose your child's campus and leave your email address. Each campus has one pioneer.
- Make the case for Loek. We email you a letter for the school, the data processing agreement and a step-by-step plan for the school. Just forwarding it is usually not enough. Find out who decides, often the school leadership or the school board, and explain why Loek works for your child and the class. Ask for a reply or a short meeting.
- Find allies. A school listens sooner when more parents ask. Ask other parents in the class, the parents' council or the participation council to back your request.
- Keep at it until there is a decision. Check in after a few weeks on where things stand and who still needs to act. Once the school says yes, it signs the data processing agreement and enables Loek in Somtoday. We arrange that with the school.
Good to know
- Right now Loek only works at schools that use Somtoday.
